For all the things you've done,
For all the things you've given me,
And let me share with everyone.
I'm Thankful for my Health,
For my Family and my Friends,
Without which my emptiness
Would never reach its end.
I'm Thankful for the Memories
Of those tucked safely in your arms,
Those who meant so much to me
Who will never again know harm.
I'm Thankful for the Criticism and Praise
That I've received from others,
I could never be the one I am
Without my sisters and my brothers.
I'm Thankful you allow me
To Love and Laugh with glee,
It's only through Love and Laughter
That I can learn to Live like Thee
Truly wants us all to Live,
With Happiness and Love
Inside our Hearts and Spirits,
With guidance from Above.
I'm Thankful for the Children,
Our adults of tomorrow;
May they learn the lessons I have learned
And not have to learn from sorrow.
I pray you'll give them tools to use
To improve what we began,
To work as one for a Peaceful World,
Each woman and each man.
I'm Thankful for our Country,
Where I have the right to disagree
